INTUCOLLAR 'T' TYPE

Application

Used to seal PVC-U pipes as they pass through fire compartment walls and floors. In a fire the intumescent lining of the metal collar expands and crushes the heat softened PVC-U pipe leaving a potential path for fire compactly sealed.

Description

A metal shell produced in two hinges halves, lined with intumescent material, to be placed around PVC-U pipes and fixed to compartment walls and floors with all steel anchors (supplied) to provide 2 hours fire protection.

Sizes: 52mm, 82mm, 110mm, 160mm.
Colours: Red.

Fire Rating

Tested at Warrington Fire Research to BS476 part 20, 2 hours fire integrity.
